Golf’s biggest names are in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, this week for The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. With the 2021 Masters Tournament less than one month away, this may be the last time we see several of the PGA Tour’s top names until mid-April. DeChambeau led the field last week in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee en route to winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. His driver won’t be nearly as big of an advantage at the shorter and more intricate TPC Sawgrass.

McIlroy is just +1600 to win this event but offers much better value to lead after 18 holes. He had a share of the first-round lead at Bay Hill last week but continued his weekend struggles en route to a T-10 finish.

Fade Johnson (+750) and DeChambeau (+900) in backing Thomas as the first American offering better than a 10-1 payout. His third-place finish here in 2016 is the best career result of the three.

Cantlay’s returning to play after withdrawing from the Workday Championship due to illness. He’s fourth in the Golfweek rankings to lead a group including Morikawa (26), Thomas (11), Hovland (5) and Webb Simpson (7).
